This documentary, which carries the spirit of humanism, is the story of those who did not submit to reaction and fascism, who struggled for democracy and human rights by seeking a way out of darkness into light. The main character of the documentary is Osman Özgüven, but it is not a biography, but a documentary of ideas. It tells what he and his comrades did in the name of fundamental rights and freedoms at the cost of paying a heavy price, how they popularised their populist policies, their concrete achievements, their adventures, how they overcame the obstacles they encountered and why they could not overcome some obstacles. These stories will shed light not only on a period but also on the future with their messages, and many of the practices they have realised are of a quality that can be a universal model. This is your story.

The film deals with Osman's crisis of faith. Osman returns to his country from Germany, where he went to study engineering. His father, İhsan Bey, wants Osman to take over the factory and marry his fiancée Fatma as soon as possible. However, Osman opposes this decision, stating that he rejects everything traditional. During his time in Europe, Osman has forgotten his own culture. When he returns to his country, his father, unable to accept Osman's European lifestyle, kicks him out of the house. Osman returns to Germany and begins living with his former girlfriend Helga. One day, Helga's father asks Osman questions about Islam. These questions will remind Osman of the values he had forgotten.

Filmed at Resolute Bay, Dr. MacInnis and his team must chip through 2 metres of ice and dive into the frigid, watery depth at the North Pole - all in the name of science.

Journalism student Simon Tate thinks it's strange when four students at the university suddenly die in "unrelated" accidents. When his friend, Dr. Benjamin Roanic, becomes the prime suspect and is suddenly murdered, Simon sets out to prove his innocence. He soon discovers the students were Roanic's test subjects in a secret drug test program, and had been cured of AIDS. He is forced to run for his life, when a pharmaceutical company tries to prevent him from revealing the truth behind "Phase IV".
